The Roemer and Pelizaeus Museum Hildesheim is world-famous for its large Egyptian collection, encompassing all eras of Egyptian antiquity, particularly from the time of the Old Kingdom.
Subject to funding by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the museum invites applications for a three-year PhD position in Egyptology, starting on July 1st, 2018, within the project “KunstModell – towards a systematic description of models and works of art from the ancient cultures of Northeast Africa”.
